Making a garden dibber, porridge spurtle or rolling pin

  • ASH LOG IS SPLIT USING A FROE

  • THE CORNERS ARE REMOVED ON THE SHAVE HORSE USING A DRAW KNIFE TO FORM A round SHAPE 

  • All REMAINING edges are removed on the lathe

  • detail to handle then string is moved over

  • dibbing gauge is marked out then burnt USING wire

  • FINISHED off with flat CHISEL and trimmed off
